Salary: £52,659 per annum
Location: This is a home-based role with regional and/or national travel as required
Regions to cover: South East and London
Contract type: Temporary for up to 9 months to cover for maternity absence
The opportunity:
We are looking for a strategic and relationship focused Regional Partnerships and Development Lead to help shape and deliver a more place based approach to gymnastics across the region. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of sport and people development, leading regional planning, building strong partnerships and helping drive sustainable growth in the sport.
You will play a key role in bringing together local insight, national priorities and cross functional expertise to ensure our work has meaningful impact for clubs, schools, leisure providers and wider communities. This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with operational delivery, builds credibility quickly and is motivated by collaboration, inclusion and positive change.
Main Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Lead the development and delivery of regional plans that support place based working and align with wider organisational priorities
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with Active Partnerships, local authorities, schools, clubs, leisure providers and other key stakeholders
- Use local insight, data and feedback to identify regional priorities, risks and opportunities for growth and investment
- Convene and co ordinate regional colleagues to ensure a joined up approach to planning, delivery and problem solving
- Support the growth of gymnastics through improved local provision, stronger partnerships and targeted place development
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to embed safe sport, governance and inclusive practice across regional activity
- Monitor progress, evaluate impact and use evidence to inform decision making and demonstrate return on investment
- Contribute to funding, budget oversight and reporting requirements linked to regional priorities and projects
- Act as a key regional contact, providing leadership and building confidence across internal and external networks
